About her
Michi was born in San Francisco, USA.
By the time she returned to Japan at the age of three, she knew a lot of things. She knew how to play and she knew how to sing.
What she didn't know at the time was that the plane ride she took on the way home to Japan from America was just the very first of countless plane rides in her life.
Since then, she has lived in Indonesia, Singapore, United States (again!), and Japan.
She lives in Germany now.
Germany was a whole new world to her.
"Guten Tag", she can say.
"Ich liebe dich", she can also say.
But she still can't say, "I am not a sporty kind of person and I am not really an outdoor type of person, either. However, I find Yoga and Pilates amusing. I love the moment of reading in bed right before going to sleep. Sometimes, I miss Tokyo for food and shops. But what can I do, that's life."
Someday, she thinks, someday she will be able to say all that in German, but until then, she will just keep smiling and take things slow.
